We are proud to announce that our Executive Director, Blair Quasnitschka recently sat down with senior living podcast, Bridge The Gap. During this special COVID-19 edition, Blair spoke with hosts Joshua Crisp and Lucas McCurdy about community operations, changes in daily life, current precautions, music and its therapeutic benefits.

Blair is a talented pianist who’s been playing throughout the halls, courtyards and parking lots of Evergreen Woods since he began here as the Executive Director. During this time with precautionary restrictions on visitors and entertainers, Blair has become the star of the show for Members. A video clip of him playing the song, “What A Wonderful World” by Louie Armstrong was posted online and has garnered thousands of views. In the podcast, Blair says that a former colleague reached out and said that the song should be the theme song for what we’re trying to create during this. He mentioned that a little bit of music goes a long way. Despite what’s happening, What A Wonderful World is a great sentiment for the world we live in and that we’re trying to create for seniors.
